Description: Large, blue-violet flowers appear continuously from spring to fall above finely cut, divided leaves. With its beautiful dark green foliage, it has a plant width of 23-27 and a height of 18. Johnson's Blue needs to be cut back in early summer for repeat bloom time in the fall.Use in borders, rock gardens and containers. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is an attraction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. An old favorite in the garden.
Care: Doesn't need much care. Easy to grow, very hardy.
