Description: Tender perennial. Related to the strawflower. It is popular for its curry scented foliage. Great container plant. Likes hot dry conditions. Curry plant produces slender, silver-gray leaves and clusters of small, yellow flowers. It can reach a height of 18 inches. Curry plant smells strongly like Curry spice, but is not where Curry Seasoning comes from. Curry Seasoning is actually a blend of many different herbs.
Care: Requires a light well-drained soil in a sunny sheltered position. Intolerant of excessive moisture. Relatively east to grow.
Harvesting: Leaves can be cut and used as a flavoring in salads and cooked foods. The flowering stems are often dried and used as 'everlasting flowers'.
