Description:
Tall, upright branching stems hold clusters of magenta-purple flowers
from early summer through late fall. A large grouping of this plant makes for
an
unforgettable display. Most effective growing in the middle of the border, with
a
backdrop of taller plants behind it. Although not hardy over a large area, gardeners
in many regions grow this as a self-seeding annual that comes back for years.
Drought tolerant. Excellent for cutting and drying flowers. Flowers are fragrant
and very attractive to butterflies.
Care:
Very easy to grow.
