Description:
Sweet Woodruff, a favorite little plant that grows in woods and on
shaded hedgebanks, may be readily recognized by its small white flowers. It
has
narrow, bright-green leaves growing beneath them in star-like whorls. Rarely
exceed a foot in height. Used as a rapidly spreading perennial groundcover that
prefers a cool, moist, shady location for best appearance. Useful as an edging
plant in a shaded border. Used to flavor May wine.
