Description:
Grown for foliage. This plant is attractive
to bees, butterflies and birds. Sweet Annie is a fast growing artemesia
and has a fabulous fragrance. It is tall and has fern-like foliage. Great
for making scented wreaths.
Care:
Deadhead if you do not want volunteer seedlings next season.
Harvesting:
Just cut the stems off close to the ground. If you wish
to
dry your herbs to use in potpourris, just bunch the stems together, tying
a group together at the base, then hang upside down in a warm dark place.
This herb seems to keep its scent much longer than any other herb.
