Description:
Flowers are bluer and earlier than most. Compact narrow green foliage.
For centuries the fragrant flowers have been used in dried sachets, scented
soaps,
perfumes and potpourris. In the garden lavenders make sweet-smelling border
plants
along pathways. Munstead has a more compact habit and grow up to 12 inches tall.
Care:
Mature plants thrive on a certain amount of neglect. Cut flowers when fully
open. Trim back in spring to encourage bushier growth and deadhead after flowering.
