Care: Keep watered during hot weather. Performs best under cool temperatures.

Harvesting: Leaves will be ready to harvest in six weeks after planting, when plants are between eight and ten inches tall. At the peak of freshness, leaves are dark green and somewhat smooth. Harvest outer leaves as plant matures or cut back plant to encourage growth.
